Experience Menorca Sunsets in Ciutadella de Menorca, Balearic Islands

Summary: It was a fantastic experience! The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. She spoke both French and Spanish at the same time to accommodate our mixed group, all while driving a jeep through the rocky, hilly landscape. We ended the tour by tasting local cheese and sobrasada while watching the sunset.

Summary: Pedro and Ettore, excellent companions of a wild and little-known Minorca. Good tasting of typical cheeses at sunset in the north of the island. Close encounter with local wildlife under the sky.

Summary: Very interesting outing with very friendly guides. We went out with Julia who speaks French which told us the history of Menorca, the geology of the island. We went to a farm where we tasted excellent products: cheese, sausage, sobressada at low prices. Then we admired the sunset (eating cheese, sausage, sobressada and drinking pomada) away from other tourists and all the spots that can be found on guides or networks. It was a very nice moment of exchange with the other French and English participants. An experience to live if you go to Menorca.

Summary: We go out with Jeep Safari Menorca every time we are in Menorca and see and hear different things each time. It shows you are side of the island you would never see otherwise and is well worth it. Highly recommended.

Summary: My wife and I signed up for this tour and looked forward to it; it didn’t disappoint! Check in was a breeze and we joined a group of 8 total plus the driver for our tour. The tour takes you briefly on normal roads and eventually go into private property where the tour company has special permission to drive their vehicles. You’ll see untouched landscape of Menorca, amazing views, and get to experience the topless Jeep experience like the ones you see on tv. It was awesome! I won’t add too much info because being surprised to see some of the things you’ll see is part of the fun and adventure. You’ll see the sunset as promised in one of the coolest ways I’ve seen the sunset in any location I ever traveled to. Our guide was great, always tending to our needs, answering questions, offering to take photos, and sharing his love for Menorca, nature, and adventure. This is one adventure you won’t want to miss! A few things to mention. As most jeeps, it isn’t incredibly comfortable. You’ll have opportunities to get off, walk, and stretch. If you have any specific health/physical needs you may want to express that to the company to make sure they are able to help with those. You’ll have an opportunity to stand up during the driving only on private property. Additionally, you’ll be walking on some uneven/rocky terrain. I’m not talking a hike, but a 3-4 minute walk so perhaps consider wearing a stable shoe for this.
